Dr. Nicola L. Chiaradonna

Osborn Medical Director

Nicola L. Chiaradonna, M.D. is the Medical Director of our Osborn location. He is a board certified Diagnostic Radiologist with fellowship training in CT, Nuclear Medicine and Ultrasound and has over 25 years of practice experience.

Dr. Chiaradonna received his medical degree from Northwestern University School of Medicine as well as completing his residency at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, Illinois.

Dr. Chiaradonna has served as President and Medical Director of Magnetic Resonance Center of Springfield, Ltd., Springfield Imaging Center Inc. and X-Ray Center and Mammography Center, Ltd. in Springfield, Illinois. He has previously been Medical Director of Doctors Park X-Ray Ltd., Vice Chairman of Humana Hospital and Chairman of Doctors Hospital in Springfield, Illinois. Dr. Chiaradonna has also served as Vice Chairman for Phoenix Memorial Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona as well as Chief Radiologist for Sunview Imaging in Las Cruces, New Mexico.

Dr. Angela Fried

Women's Center Medical Director

We are pleased to welcome Angela Fried, M.D. to AZ-Tech Radiology’s Women’s Center. She is a Board Certified Diagnostic Radiologist with significant experience in trauma, surgical diseases of the abdomen and mammography, including digital mammography and MRI. Dr. Fried performs breast biopsies, breast ductograms, thyroid biopsies and soft tissue biopsies in our office. This means patients will no longer have to schedule these types of procedures in a hospital setting, with larger out-of-pocket expenses. Dr. Fried earned her medical degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport Louisiana. She completed her internship and residency there as well. Dr. Fried has relocated to Arizona from Maryland. She was a partner at Diagnostic Imaging Associates in Lanham Maryland as well as their Quality Assurance Officer.

Dr. Ronald C. Petcher

Ahwatukee Medical Director

Ronald C. Petcher, M.D. is the Medical Director at our Ahwatukee Foothills location. He is a board certified Diagnostic Radiologist. Dr. Petcher has 31 years of practice experience. Dr. Petcher received his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati School of Medicine in Cincinnati, Ohi0. He completed an internship at United States Regional Medical Center in Great Lakes Illinois and completed his residency at Long Beach Veterans Medical Center. He did three and half years of Diagnostic Radiology including one year of Radiation Oncology with four months of Pediatric Radiology at Children's Hospital in Los Angeles. Dr. Petcher has held previous positions with companies including Imaging Associates, LLC, MR Center & Springfield Imaging in Illinois, and served as Medical Director for the Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program at Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa, California from 1986-1994.

Dr. Zabih Habib

Tempe Medical Director

Dr. Zabih Habib, M.D. is a Board Certified Diagnostic Radiologist who is Fellowship trained in Interventional Radiology and General Radiology. He performs thyroid biopsies, lymph node biopsies, bone biopsies, bone marrow aspirations, injections, abdominal and pelvic biopsies just to name a few. Patients no longer have to schedule these types of procedures in a hospital setting, with a larger out of pocket expense. Dr. Habib started his career in General Surgery, moved into Orthopedic Surgery then went into Radiology. His General Surgery Internship was at Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland and his Residency in Diagnostic Radiology was at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Pontiac, Michigan. Dr. Habib completed a fellowship in Interventional Radiology at the University of Texas Health and Science in San Antonio, TX.

Dr. Nga Do

Osborn Medical Director

Dr. Nga Do, M.D. is a Board Certified Diagnostic Radiologist with significant experience in MRI, CT, , US, General Radiography and PET. Dr. Do earned her medical degree from the University of California in Los Angeles, California. Dr. Do completed her internship from the Tucson Medical Center in Tucson, Arizona and her residency from St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona. She also completed a Body Imaging Fellowship at the University of Southern California, Keck School of Medicine. Dr. Do has worked in the Arizona market for over 11 years.

 

Dr. Richard S. Sherry

Gilbert Medical Director

Richard Stanley Sherry, M.D. is the Medical Director at our new Gilbert location. He is a board certified Diagnostic Radiologist and completed a fellowship in Magnetic Resonance Imaging. Dr. Sherry has over 15 years of practice experience. Dr. Sherry received his medical degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville, Tennessee. He completed an internship at Virginia Mason Hospital in Seattle, Washington. He did his Diagnostic Radiology residency at Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois. He furthered his training with a MRI fellowship at the University of Chicago. Dr. Sherry has previously been a Medical Director at St. Luke’s Medical Center of Phoenix, Open MRI of Phoenix, Open MRI of West Valley, and Superstition Imaging in Gilbert, Arizona.

Dr. Gregory I. Shenk

Apache Junction Medical Director

Gregory Ian Shenk, M.D. has been with AZ-Tech Radiology for 3 years. He is the Medical Director at our Casa Grande location. He is a board certified Radiologist with fellowship training in Neuro-radiology. Dr. Shenk has over thirty years of clinical experience. Dr. Shenk earned his medical degree from Chicago Medical School. He completed his residency at Mt. Sinai Hospital and his fellowship at Rush Presbyterian St. Luke's Hospital. Dr. Shenk was chairman of the department of Diagnostic Radiology for Presbyterian Hospital in Knoxville, Tennessee. He has also served as Medical Director for Chicago North Side MRI, St. Joseph, St. Francis and University of Chicago (Weiss) Hospitals as well as assistant professor in Neuro-radiology at University of Tennessee and the University of Illinois.

Dr. Peter E. Weinberg

Neuroradiologist

AZ-Tech Radiology is pleased to anounce Peter E. Weinberg, M.D. has joined our Network as our Fellowship trained, Board Certified Neuroradiology specialist.

Dr. Weinberg received his medical degree from University of Wisconsin School of Medicine in Madison Wisconsin as well as completing his residency at Michael Reese Hospital and Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. His fellowship training was at the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology in St. Louis, Missouri as well as at Washington University School of Medicine.

Prior to Dr. Weinberg’s 25 years practice experience, he was the Director of Neuroradiology & Neuroradiology Fellowship Program in Chicago, Illinois from September, 1969 to April, 1986 as a Full Professor in the Department of Radiology and as a Full Professor, Department of Surgery (Neurosurgery) at Northwestern Memorial Hospital/Northwestern and University Medical School.
